We have seen patriotic films in the past that dwells about our military velour and men in military uniform fight the enemies. But nowhere was made a movie on the contribution of our navy men.To fill the void comes Ghazi.
Three cheers to Rana Daggubati for the pulls it great as a navy officer and the Baahubali actor do Gove his best giving life to the character.A movie on 1971 Indo-Pak war and a tribute to Indian Navy men, Ghazi is about Captain Ranvijay Singh (Kay Kay Menon),
Commander Arjun Varma (Rana) and Devraj (Atul Kulakarni). They set out on S21, an Indian submarine. It vanished underwater for some days.Meanwhile Pakistan Navy's flagship submarine PNS Ghazi, that set out on secret mission crossed Indian waters and sank near Vishakapatinam.
What happens then forms the rest. The movie ha enough thrills and suspending moments. The script and screenplay is clear and clarity of visual is awesome and amazing/.Rana walks away with all applause. He is the flesh and blood of the movie.
Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkari chip in well.Producers PVP deserves a special mention for the grand show. It is rich in visuals and grand to look at. Om Puri, Nassar and Taapsee have done commendable job.Debutant director Sankalp is a wonderful prospect and a future star.
War scenes are so real.Cameraman Mathi, editor Sreekar Prasad does well to elevate the mood of the movie. Ghazi is a super show that deserves a watch.
