Kanithan is a cat and mouse game with Atharvaa playing the hero. The movie has garnered enough attention with the likes of Vijay, director Atlee and Rajinikanth himself offering praises. 

Written and directed by T N Santhosh and produced by S Thanu under V Creations banner, it stars Atharvaa and Catherine Tresa in the lead role,

while K Bhagyaraj, Manobala, Aadukalam Naren, Karunakaran, Tarun Arora, YG Mahendra, Vignesh Raghavan, Sunder Ramu, Aadhira and Balaji Radhakrishnan appear in the supporting roles.
